Give this character a power action if it has no action tokens and replace it with Firestorm JL52 #009 and Firestorm JL52 #010. Each replacement character is assigned an action token and can't be given an action this turn. They each begin a number of clicks from their starting line equal to the click number.
This is worded very differntly from the Merge on both Firstorm, And the way i understand this is that when you split Fury both Firstorms Start on a click number that when added together equal Fury's it does not say split and start on the same click number as Fury
Eg: Fury is on Click 4 So split and Both Firestorms start on Click 2 or any number so lang as it adds up to 4.
Do you all agree or not as there seems to be a split (excuse the pun) decission within my club the dissagreement comes from the possibility to radically heal a damaged firestorm in the space of three turns but as Fury has a wicked heal and absorb ability i still feel it fits his ability.
Just so its clear hear is firestorms merge.
MERGE: If this character is adjacent to JL52 #010 Firestorm and neither have an action token, you may give this character a free action to replace both characters with JL52 #021 Fury. Fury begins on the same click number as this character and cannot use the Split ability this turn.
The key point is that it specifies 'THE SAME CLICK AS' in its wording whereas Split does not.
Thanx to those that read and reply and if you are gonna mock please be original
If Fury is on click 4, both Firestorms enter the game on click 4.
Explain! its fine to just say that but what makes it that way and why would the wording say 'equal' whereas 'same as' would have been a difinitive way of wording ot without confusion
Wow. Ever hear of the word 'please'? For the sake of everyone else reading this thread...

Okay, so what is the click number? 4? Sure, we'll work with that.
Now, it says EACH begin a number of clicks from their starting line equal to that number. So Firestorm A begins 4 clicks down (since 4 = 4) and Firestorm B begins 4 clicks down (since 4 = 4).
What is there not to like on the ruling? That is how the split power works for Fury and the other duos. That is how the power reads. The merge ability works the same on the duos. They made fury with the trait as he doesn't have the duo attack ability and just put the merge and split rules on the firestorm and fury characters respectively.

Just because i don't like or agree with the wording does not mean i will ignore the rule and how it has been clarified, i appreciate the time that people take to help me get better at playing the game. I only have 6months experience and don't wish to get caught out making a novice mistakes during tournies. So to those that took the time to reply THANKS.
