Seriously almost no one can touch the spider with a double perplexed defense
Xavin can easily become a decent threat as well.
God forbid if you get a lucky spin or two with spider skrull.

Neh, the gauntlet is overpowered. Its the feats nightmare all over again, except this time it doesn't even has conditions to put it on.

It is what it is. Until its removed it will be a staple component of winning teams in any event that allows it.

If your dead set against it its an easy change to include a low point skrull.

Double xavin is too good to pass up with spiderskrull.

Xavin is even more retarded with Skrullverine. Unlimited X-men healing...

Unless I'm missing something the perplex will go away at the end of your turn so it would be nasty in the fact it would give him a +2 attack or damage or combination of the two but not much else.

Perplex lasts until start of your next turn unless hit. Otherwise perplex wouldn't work on Defense for anything other than avoiding your own pulse waves maybe.

Spider-Skrull is better than Skrullverine as he is much harder to hit, has a amazing TA to share that can COPY the xmen ability if you want and well ranged movement shenanigans is pretty bomb too. SuperSenses + skrullchange +gauntlet = OTT

SpiderSkrull with glove tanked his way through an entire game against M10ironman with power glove team. I have great faith in him now.

At the end of your turn, xavin returns to click 1 and therefore loses perplex on the dial because it is no longer showing. If that happens, the perplexed values go away. That being said it's a good team.

Ah missed that part since I usually use. Xavin as early game damagers and end up on sues click naturally which doesn't go away since no return to 1.
