I just started playing in June and I've been Geting a few boosters
Here and there. But this is what I have come up with. I don't know how well it will do at the store I play at.

CW Donald Blake 33 with ae CW Thor
For 299.

Dr strange seems to do it all with wolverine as backup
And Blake for support. Opinions??

Its a decent force but it could be so much better
What do you have to work with?
Id recommend getting the CW FF pack asap if you haven't yet.

I got the gsx Ff and mostly stuff from The hulk set like red hulk , cosmic hulk the spiderman wolverine and Joe fix it the Fan4 ta ones. a few dc 10th guys. Also was given a big box full of stuff from what I was told is from the first 4 years of clix.

299mystical theme team if you win map roll pick an indoor map with lots of walls first turn create a second astral move both astral using phasing and then at end of turn choose not to turn the gaunlet and dr.strange takes 1 unavoidable to his special after that wreck the opposing team by phasing astrals through walls and using stranges special and both his and witches perplexs to hit for 4 psyblast damage on whoever by raising his attack and damage by one apeice if you miss prob with witch after attack use astrals non free move to phase back through walls next turn use other astral (after a turn of clearing dr.strange)

First off I forgot to say welcome to the land of clix.
Seond sounds like you have a fairly good start
I recommend picking up the CWFF Set as soon as possible. Scarlet witch will be in 3/4ths of all lists you ever play.
I also recommend grabbing the new52 JLFF pack as it is full of great solid beginner figures.

I also recommend a good starting list to learn with that you play at Least ten games with.
Be sure to include
Outwit, perplex, super strength, move and attack power and probability control for sure
Get familiar with interactions on figures and maps. Winning when new isn't critical.

I disagree with a great deal of this. First, the team is fantastic as is so run that! Nobody likes playing against a mystic figure with a healer.

Second, scarlet witch is great but unless you are a power gamer and only care about winning, she will not be on 3/4th of your teams. Part of the fun of Heroclix is making theme teams (there are more than just Avengers) or putting fun combos together.

I agree with playing similar figures multiple times before moving on to get a hang of different tactics, powers, etc. Also it is a good idea to have either prob control, perplex, or outwit but it is not necessary to have super strength or the move and attack powers (running shot, hypersonic speed, or charge) though they do help out a lot. Just play with the figures you like, come up with a team you'll have fun with, and then play. Once you feel comfortable, try something new. If you can fit outwit, prob control, perplex, support, and telekinesis on one team, you are ahead of the game but you will do well even if you have just 3 of those. In your team, you have 4 so keep it as is! Good job on building a good team!

Thank you both for the advice I've been reading a few forums on here and I never thought to use 5 or 6 low point guys. I figured higher points the better. I going to get the CW FF Friday. I also missed out on the infinity gauntlet events so I sadly don't have one. I've looked on amazon/eBay but they cost to much. I'm Hopeing to do the batman one comeing up in November. I also have the WoS 86 point nightcrawler I was thinking of doing something with him and poison with the IH#28 red hulks ability. thanks again.

Ya high points isn't always great, balance is the key. In your case, having a high point figure is okay. If you instead had Strange and no good backup, then I say modify the team to give you the most options possible!

Everyone hates nightcrawler. So use him! Lol. One my favorite pieces in the game even tho he's golden age now

That's 251 leaving me 49 points
Maybe fill that with the 33 point Donald Blake for the support then Thor
With a nurse for 10.
Or the 41 point Tony stark for outwit then iron man the 110 CW one
Or (lol) the 43 point antman.

I just don't know lol

Previous team is better but those are fun figures.
