I am not going to wicki crap or anything like that doing it all from memory. I just remember I loved collecting comics during the Acts of Vengeance crossover event. I remember I first bought the Uncanny X Men with Psylocke in armor on the cover and The Mandarin was in the background, the cover was blue, Jim Lee was the artist I think.
There was this cool Iron Man issue where he was in the past chillin' with Merlin and fighting Dr. Doom.
I remember Spider Man was real good as well, was the Cosmic Spidey storyline during Acts of Vengeance or was it just getting started?
I don't remember but the awesome X Factor team of the original five (Jean Grey, Cyclops, Iceman, Beast, Archangel) were facing the Celestials on an alien planet in a very weird but pretty good storyline right about that time as well.
I remember Dr. Doom sending Ultron, albeit a very damaged one, after Daredevil, or all people. Ann Nocenti and John Romita Jr. were doing that run, and it also guest-starred Gorgon and Karnak from the Inhumans. Utterly classic.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
Eventually, I will read this in Trade form. I had my collection of comics stolen at that time period. I remember the X-Men issue with Psylocke and Mandarin on the cover..
1/6th of the Brothers Prob. '19-'20 Season: 15-13(8 events) 2 wins, 2nd XDPS PR 9-7, 7th SOC
I have the Spidey ones, and it is indeed Cosmic Spidey. They are some great issues, where Magneto throws everything and the kitchen sink at him and Spidey is hopelessly clueless as to whats going on.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
I loved Cosmic Spidey, and made it a point to track down all the issues. Also, Acts of Vengeance was how Marvel introduced the New Warriors (they helped Thor fight the Juggernaut), which is another point in its favor.

It was a totally screwed up Ultron too as it was integrating "multiple personalities" due to a "Frankenstein Monster's build" of prior bodies, right?
One of my favourite bits of "Acts of Vengeance" was when Freedom Force decided to attack Avengers Park and Hank Pym led "b-stringers" to take them down. Hank used Pym Particles on Blob in the battle and the eight-ball sized Blob's mass was so concentrated he shot straight through to the core of the planet. Not really sure how he survived that one, but it was an awesome moment and gave me good room to say, "Go ahead. Mock Hank - he'll turn you 1" tall and then what're you going to do?"
Plus the thankful destruction of Hydro-Base and the return to the Mansion. I'm sorry but Hydro-Base, Stark Tower, etc....none of them seem the same for me as the Mansion (though Hank's Doctor Who-esque "Infinite Mansion" was fair game).
Frankly, just the whole idea - the arch-villains all get together (and eventually fall apart because of in-fighting) and switch off heroes so the heroes are fighting brand new threats...it was so obvious it felt like it should've been done on that grand of a scale already yet it hadn't and was great.
One downside - okay, besides the fact we got the Cosmic Spidey heroclix from it - was the temporary and unexplained reversion of Amora the Enchantress (who had atoned her ways during Simonson's run on Thor). After that she spent the next couple decades more or less as a Thor ally and is now...a villainess again because of the cartoon? Not really following why they keep flipping her.

There are "Acts of Vengeance" omnibuses I believe (I never bought them being I have them due to having the original issues but, well, I bought the Thor Omnibus despite having Simonson's run and the Absolute CoIE and well, yeah, so my logic doesn't make sense). Not cheap but it's a nice looking reading tome.
