and then we can expand from there on where you want to go.

i like bruce banner with bomb science, there are plenty of scientists w/ ee to benefit and there is the plan b of hulking out with him

113 points left for what ever you need. I did use a NC with full gauntlet but I don't think you want to not get the piece. Barrier with the renegades to keep prof x alive. Two hypersonic guys that with heavy objects will get the damage needed. Three outwits. And points left over. Hope this helped!

I would build it around the, "Build me a doomsday weapon!" Red Skull, which essentially gives you a chance to get gauntlet-boosted stats without using a gauntlet. The unpromoted Green Goblin from M10th is a scientist that adds a powerful attacker to your team. Fill in with your favorite scientist support figs.

GSX Prof X is great on scientist teams. Surround him with cheap Researchers from WOS and he's outwitting through your characters on the field and hitting for 5 penetrating.

Another trick I like in this theme is WoL Atrocitus, IH002 Bruce Banner, and AA Flash. Atrocitus is a great attacker that will shut down range on your opponents on a huge part of the map. Your goal is to push Banner into IH043 Hulk. You can achieve this faster by attempting to hit leadership with Flash. Once AE'd, run Flash and Hulk together. Now instead of KO'ing Hulk on doubles (except for a crit miss) most characters will have to hit double 5's or a crit hit to KO him due to the Flash's defend. Move them around with Atrocitus to make sure no one can shoot Hulk. If you can pull that off it tends to be a bloodbath.

Other characters a reach for on that theme: IH Amadaeus Cho, SM Brainiac 5, SM001 Superman, and Metron.

And again.. Prof can shoot and outwit through all of them.

Scientists make for a pretty sick theme.

I am fond of this team:

and then 202 points of your choice.

With this team, Green Goblin gets his +1 attack, but his -1 defense. With Mr Fantastic, you can boost all his combat values by +2 anyway. Then don't forget the two additional perplexs from AIM agents. Bruce Banner increases damage dealt with energy explosion by 1 and Green Goblin deals penetrating energy explosion damage.

This is a really solid team with many options and many ways to frustrate your oppoent. For the remaining points, I'd go with an AIM Agent (Perplex and Support can come in handy) and a Klaw from the CA micro set. He's a decent secondary attacker and has 8 range barrier, which can come in handy to protect characters out on the front lines. Remember you need to have at least six characters to get the theme team bonus.

i faced a onslaught and he not even made more then 3 damage to a tony
the rest of the tournament was pretty easy until the final
Void And Sentry was hard but prof finished him and only took one pushing damage
by the way
i won a GG Gladiator
