Battlesuit Lex, Gauntlet and Part of/Personal Inventory
Quote
Setup - Infinity Gauntlet dial begins on the green line, but does not have a KO click; the dial may rotate past the starting line. You may not add special objects to your force if Infinity Gauntlet is part of it.

PART OF MY PERSONAL INVENTORY: Once per game, give Lex Luthor a power action to place a special object whose name includes "Kryptonite" from outside the game into an adjacent square.
So, with his special power, are you adding the Kryptonite to your force?
If not, does your opponent score points for destroying it?
Technically it says you can't add Special Objects starting out as part of your force if you are playing the Infinity Gauntlet, it doesn't say anything about you being able to bring them in via Special Powers or Traits however...just saying. This is something that needs to be looked into by an Orange Tab.
The special power doesn't add an object to the force, in my opinion, it adds one to the map you are currently playing on.
You're good. But I'm magic!

The problem is that a lot of new players come from the "race generation" they want to define their worth by the "skill" they posses in playing a game of toy soldiers.

i see no mention of starting or force, just saying.

whether you start with it on your foce or bring it in after it is still added by you and if you are using gauntlet then:

Yup.
Gauntlet? Then no special objects. This also means that if you play one of the Elders of the Universe peanut base prize LE's from the Gauntlet tournaments then it can not have its gem attached.

its not saying the sp object is part of your force its not saying it counts to the objects that are out on the map already so i say you can still bring it in because it says to the map not as part of your force

You brought it in, so it is part of your force.
Just like if you create a Duplicate Madrox, he is part of your force (or add an Astral Strange or summon an Ultron Drone and so on).
If you do it, it is yours. If your opponent does it, it is their's.
This ruling still bothers me beyond belief.........disagree with it but that's all I can do.....
Thanks for the info normalview, I agree with the above statement fully because of the way things are currently worded. jtallday though you are right I just want to point out that force appears in the last line of the official Infinity Gauntlet wording, I'm not trying to come off as a dick in any way, form, or fashion and wasn't in my previous post either so please don't take it that way.
