I just played a game against a team with two Stealth characters (Catwoman and The Dark Knight from the DKR starter set. I found myself in a hard spot as I could not figure out a way to deal with my opponent hiding in hindering terrain and using stealth. On the Gotham Bank indoor map there are all kinds of places for them to sit there in stealth.
What can I do to counteract the stealth, what strategy can I take against stealth to hope to beat it. With the Joker, Bane, and Harvey Two Face I just cannot see a way. Can someone help me out here.

TK - You can TK a friendly figure right next to the stealthed person and smash them.
If you play golden age, there were a couple feats that also worked. Maneuver let's someone making a close combat attack move the figure being attacked out of hindering. Homing Device let's your friendly characters attack a stealthed figure until the end of the turn.
So Tk works against stealth? I guess with the object you throw it with TK at the space where the opposing stealth character is.
Can you explain how TK'ing your friendly into attack works against Stealth? If you cannot see the stealth character how can you attack him? Just trying to get some clarity as a newb as to how this works.

Well that changes everything. The way I was playing it Stealth was near unbeatable with the characters I had. Thanks everyone for the heads up.
There are lots of individual characters that ignore hindering for line of fire purposes (Mistress Death, etc.) You can also use Pulse Wave since that ignores hindering. I love Pulse Waving characters in Stealth.
There are plenty of ways to take down stealth; my personal favorite: JL52 Cyborg. His trait ignores stealth, he's loaded on the front with Running Shot and Pulse Wave.
You can always make close combat attacks against stealth
This. This is the most under rated stealth busting technique there is. You probably got someone with charge on your team anyways. He may as well go after the stealth piece.

Eh, he is ok. I would rather want someone with running shot pulse wave with higher damage.

I understand, and in a higher point game there are other folks I might field too, but I'm thinking typical 300-400 games where I want to make points count, a piece that has indomitable; pulse wave; running shot; invulnerability, and a trait that ignores stealth (plus regen at the end of the dial) is great for his 100pt cost.

Well that can happen. Sometimes you've just got absolutely the wrong team to go against what your opponent is playing. And most Batman Enemy teams are outmatched by a Bat Ally team. With the resources available to them, it's pretty tough for them to overcome a Stealth-heavy team. Not impossible, but tough, which kinda stinks because otherwise they'd be thematically very cool games.
Close Combat works for everyone of course, but if you have to move in and wait until next turn it does give them a chance to hit first. TK's been mentioned, Charge, and even a well timed taxiing can help solve this.
There's also the issue that so many Bat-Allies have Combat Reflexes making them awfully hard to hit with Close Combat. Perplex or other stat boosters and a little PC can help. Also, a little Poison means you don't actually have to roll to do the damage, once you're adjacent.

However you cannot PW a bunch of stealthed characters like you could in the old days....you have to be able to draw lines of fire to at least 1 fig.
things have sadly changed.

Incorrect. PW ignores the hindering terrain due to Improved Targeting. Therefore you can draw a LoF even to characters with Stealth.
Trade to Canada. We're friendly, and we love Beavers..........
