does the damage from EE also affect my own figures?

does impervious and supersenses roll against it? does impervious soak the EE splash damage?

now similarily with mastermind, can impervious/supersenses roll against it and (for impervious) soak the mastermind damage?

1) EE does damage your own figures.

2) Super Senses rolls against all EE situations. Impervious only rolls against it if the Imperv figure was one of the targets. If it is only splash damage then Imperv does not activate.

3) Neither Super Senses nor Impervious activate for Mastermind damage. Mastermind transfers the damage without the attack roll. Toughness and Invulnerability still work when receiving damage from mastermind.

If youre figures are adjacent to the target and the attack roll was high enough to hit your defense values... then Yes.

Impervious will ONLY work if the figure was the DIRECT targte of the EE.... if the Impervious figure was only being hit by Splash, then Impervious will neither allow the 'dodge' roll nor will it soak any damage.

Super Senses will work if the figure is the direct target OR if the figure is only the target of Splash.

Damage from Mastermind is considered damage from a super power. Damage from Mastermind is not considered an attack.

Since it is not considered an attack, Impervious and Super Senses will not get to roll. Impervious will not soak the damage from Mastermind damage.

Here's one can you perplex up EE damage?

tsannik, so you're saying if my Catwoman is the ONLY OTHER person receiving splash damage besides the target of EE, supersenses kicks in, otherwise it doesnt? that sentence was iffy...i m sure you meant that supersenses rolls against EE in all situations like mr. pilky said?

no u cant perplex EE but you can have enhancement adjacent to someone with EE and i think some marvel team ability, maybe shield? i m not sure

Alrighty...

The Damage value on a figure who is wanting to use Energy Explosion can be Perplexed. But you have to Perplex before you declare the Energy Explosion.

So, you declare you Perplex on your Energy Explosion to say 3 damage.

Then you declare Energy Explosion which would reduce the damage to 1.

So, essentially.... the Energy Explosion damage cannot be Perplexed effectively.

So, I would answer 'No, Energy Explosion damage cannot be Perplexed to make the Energy Explosion do more than 1 damage.'

If Catwoman is the target of the EE attack, she can use Super Senses.

If Catwoman is the target of the EE attack and also is receiving Splash because she's adjacent to another figure who is also the target of the same attack... she can use Super Senses.

If Catwoman is NOT the target of the EE attack, but is caught in Splash because she's adjacent to another figure who is the target of the attack.... she can use Super Senses.

Basically, Super Senses will always kick in against a EE attack (splash or regular).

lance - Tsannik said "OR if the figure is only the target of Splash" not "OR if the figure is the only target of Splash". So yes, he means that any damage EE tries to deal, either targetted, splash or even a combination of the two will activate Super Senses.
