Today marks the release of both DC HeroClix: Batman and The Hobbit: an Unexpected Journey hit the street! As a bonus; WizKids has released official set checklists for all your gotta catch them all needs!

Super excited for this release! It'll be my first foray into organized play at my FLGS. Although my brick won't be arriving until Monday, I'll just have to make do with the pair of blind packs I pick up today.

Awesome! I love Checklists, do they still issue these as posters? On a side note Bad Samaritan's name has a typo. It reads: "Bad Samritan"

The sculpts for the regular and haunted tank seem to be mixed up. Guess how I know lol. Haunted tank really makes me want This robot is trained to smash your camera!

Checklists are cool, man. I don't know why the company policy has always been to never admit Chases exist, but who am I to question the great wisdom?

Three things, two bad and one good: ONE I am so over them using renders on these things. I'm sure it's quicker and simpler and whatever, but I feel like it's a lie, because they inaccurately represent the product. Like, egregiously.

TWO Why aren't there rarities listed on the Hobbit checklist? Am I to believe there are 10 [TEN] rares in this set? Are you insane? We're at a point where there are more rares than commons? You really wanna make sure people stop buying things blind, don't you, WK? [Unless that's not the rarity, which, you know, would be awesome to know.]

THREE You made a Bret from Flight of the Conchords figure? That almost makes up for number 2.

I don't care if the hobbit clix suck in game or not. We got all 13 dwarves and I really like that each one of them has a unique weapon and a dynamic pose.
Must get now.
