Our player group was talking over the weekend and a question came up, not one of us knew the correct answer.
These custom feat cards, ATA and battlefield conditions that players create and you can download and print, are they tournament legal?
Not referring to the “print and play” from the official Wizzkids site.
Found a few on the album section of this forum and on links in the members signatories
They are not official. They would have the same status, really, as a custom dial and sculpt: if you locally want to allow it to be played that's your choice locally. But they would not be legal for an event run by WizKids.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

They are not official, BUT if they have the same text as the Players guide and the only difference is the picture on the card then its is okay generally speaking.
section 7 players guide
Print and Play: For WizKids events, players can print any legitimate copy of a cardboard element from HeroClix. The printed version must not be functionally different from a legal WizKids-released version of the element.

So a picture is okay alternate text is not.
Right, if it's just custom art with the standard text you should be fine. I think, though, he's talking about feats, ATAs etc that are custom text, though, like say a Birds of Prey ATA or something of the sort.
