Can a character with TK use it on an opposing character to bounce them into a wall, thus giving the opposing character damage?

no, because to move them past the wall would require line of sight to the point beyond for both the tk'er and the target, so pushing them past the wall isn't possible.

also, you can't 'drop' someone off elevated for the fall damage because the tk places the person, not just leaves them in the air to drop.

No, TK only places characters

You would need Force Blast to do what you want. Or just a ranged attack where you rolled knockback.
