Today’s DC HeroClix: Streets of Gotham preview brings us to the oft-black sheep of the “Batman Family” of Gotham City vigilantes. Making her long-awaited return to HeroClix, we bring you Helena Bertinelli, aka the Huntress!

For 59 points I feel like can run a team of her and a couple of outwitters. Probably get crushed, but might be fun

For 59 points I expect a lot more out of a figure. Sadly another dust collector. Low Atk values confused power set and mediocre defense. Another loser.

This figure is exactly why you need to put the character descriptions back on the cards. You call her Bertinelli in your post, but the card says Wayne. Please put the character descriptions back on the cards so you can explain why the character is named as they are, or who the character is...

Could a potential Birds Of Prey ATA save this 59 pointer?
Unlikely.
I feel like the bm015 Nightrunner dial, for nine points less and dropping the range, would be a better choice over a figure like this for a new low point Bat Ally.
Hopefully we see this character with a slightly more aggressive dial in another form as well.

It's about time we got a Huntress remake! Between this one from the GF and the FF version I hope we have two solid options to use for her.

Everyone knows that Helena can kick Barbara Gordon and Kathy Kane's teeth in, except for Wizkids. And while I love most of Jim Lee's art, I hated the exposed abs costume he gave her. Why not just scream to every criminal, "Hey why don't you gut shot me?" They could easily have used the Nu52 look instead.

I will give credit where it's due though. I love Huntress best, but the Cassandra Batgirl fans deserve a clix that can trash all three of the other girls. LOL!

I was so dissapointed with the old Huntress REV that I put her sculpt on a V Nightwing.

I am glad we got a new Huntress, but feels a little lacking ror the points. Either Willpower on the top click or Perplex on the 2nd click would have made this figure much better.

We are seeing more 8 Attacks now.

That was the nail in the coffin for me. I was so hooked on collecting clix but between my collection getting a tad too big and not playing nearly enough to justify the game, I was trying to figure out ways to shrink my collection. When they stopped doing the bios I suddenly realized I don't care for 7 outta ten figures that come out, and it made it easier for me to get out. It's so lazy of them to not put the 2 minutes to each character to whip a quick bio of these guys.

She shouldn't even have BOP keyword...This is the new 52 version...Morons cant read a damn comic book

Eh, I've seen worse dials, so I can live with this. What honestly gets me though is screwing up the fluff with the character. Helena Wayne is not a "Crimelords Daughter" and, considering the earth she is on (unless there have been some crossovers I'm not aware of) Bat Family and Birds of Prey keywords aren't appropriate. If you're pushing a Nu52 version, the keyword would probably need to be Worlds' (note where the apostrophe is compared to the fluff) Finest and maybe "Batman's Daughter" instead.

Then again, maybe the fluff is just generic to a character and there is a more appropriately worded Huntress in the set, and I'll just have to deface my card with the proper fluff info for this particular figure.

So far, aside from Barda, who I'm told isn't a proper long standing member of the Birds of Prey, none of the girls (nor Ted) are front line material. They need to make more Birds that don't bite it to a well slung rock. I'm disappointed that the team is turning out to be support with nowhere to funnel it.

While BOP is technically incorrect for this version, I can see it as okay, since there are no longer REV's. For purposes of the fun of the game and wanting to play past continuity, one should not be cheated of a keyword bonus. Lord knows this remake was too long in arriving.

For those of you who don't read the Nu52, Helena uses the name Bertinelli as she is trying to not be noticed by Batman. Explanations would be awkward, as she and Power Girl are attempting to return to Earth 2.
