I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, but I was wondering if there has been, or if I can get a definitive up/down on the following:

CC 053b - Only one FoB can be attached per the Trait. (Yes/No)

CC 053b - Attached FoB (per the Trait) does count toward theme. (Yes/No)

The first one, I believe the answer is yes, he can attach only 1.

Not sure about the second.

If the bats are attached then they are not considered part of your force when your force is revealed to go against your theme team. However, if you add anymore bats to it, since they can't start attached to the CC, then it would hurt your theme team.

When was this finalized?

It seems like they will break theme, with a caveat of the possibility that it was intended otherwise.

Edit: Unless they are on an animal team, of course.

Only one may be attach using the trait and FoB will counted against theme. Make or break depending on the keyword of the team.
