I haven't heard anybody talk about this set. Is anyone excited about this set, like myself or is there nobody interested in it? Just curious. I bought a case with the promo blue dragon and can't wait to open it up.
I bought a few boosters of the initial release (Rise of the Runelords, I believe), but the boosters are just too god-awful expensive for D&D / Pathfinder miniatures (especially random miniatures.) At least the ones from WotC also come with cards/stats for use in a seperate tactical game (besides their use in the roleplaying game itself.)
Despite how cool some of them look, I think the only way I'd continue to pay those kinds of prices would be if they (Wizkids) worked out a deal with Paizo that would allow them to use their Switchclix mechanic to include Heroclix bases in the Pathfinder boosters. In fact, that would actually be really awesome and would definately get me to buy them.
(It should be pointed out that I've been playing Heroclix since it came out 10+ years ago, but I've also been a hardcore roleplayer, especially D&D, for 25+ years.)

That is understandable. It is definately not cheap. The switch clix would be an interesting concept, but I've already invested in these pathfinders sets and I'm getting out of heroclix after 10 years, so I'm doing the opposite of what your doing. Thanks for the reply, I didn't think I was ever going to get a reply, lol.
I've only purchased one booster, but it was a doozy. I got a fire giant, a nightgaunt, an air elemental, and an amazing-looking boggard.
Yeah I really love all four of those figs. I like the grey maidens. I wish I had an army of those. I hoping the next set will be as awesome. They were suppose to announce it earlier in the week, but hopefully we will know soon.
