Kinda been in a funk lately and haven't been doing much modding. Tried my hand at it again last night and the results were pretty promising. These first two were part of a commission I did towards the end of last year that I never got around to posting because of said funk.


First up, we have the Jester. Dunno much about him, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a clix-scale yo-yo.





Next, another character I know nothing about, but he looked pretty cool. Deathstalker here was mostly a SM Lex Luthor, with the arms, cape and head all sculpted. I forget where the hat came from.





Here's a piece I built last year and had another Realmser paint for me. Once again, HavokTX turned a decent sculpt into something awesome. Ultimate Cap here is on the 100 pt. Avengers movie dial.





These next two are just sculpt-swaps and repaints, but they helped me get my groove back. I recently picked up some of the ASM gravity feed pieces, and loved the Scarlet Spider sculpt. I've been meaning to mod some new pieces for the "on the wall" Spideys from WoS, and never got around to it. When I saw this one, I knew I wanted it to be my black suited Spidey. The lines on the emblem were not much fun, but I'm pretty pleased with the result.





And since I stole the sculpt off the Scarlet Spider dial, and it was my only one, I had to replace it with something. I noticed I had several of the rookie Spider-man from Sinister, and decided to give that one a shot. Turned out okay I think.

Love the black suit Spidey. May have to steal that one when I get an extra Scarlet Spider. As it stands now I just pulled the black suit out of the wall and put him on a gargoyle

Really a display of skill on the Back in Black. That white spider emblem must have been a pain in the @&^. And while I like your Scarlet Spider, it just don't fit him ya know? Ive been reading his series from the start and that pose is clearly meant for a suit that shoots webbing out of its knuckles. I would really like to see someone do Kaine SS out of the GG or Hulk spiderman and just place him on a rock or atop a building. Would have to replant the head but that would give more of a Kaine feel.

I tried that myself, but ended up destroying Spidey trying to get him out of that stupid wall.

I honestly know nothing about the character. When I heard there was a Scarlet Spider in the set, I assumed it was Ben Reilly. It's a cool costume, but sorry it's not what you expected.

Your emblems look sick. I wish my hand was that steady.

Did they do with Scarlet Spider what I think they did?
