Have a 300 point tournament comming up next week; I'm contemplating two teams based on Sauron and I'd like to hear thoughts and feedback.
Both teams play similarly...

Version 1:

Version 2:
U. Sauron 77
V. Silver Samuari 40
E. Wasp 33
V. Storm 52
E. Doombot 33
E. Bullseye 31
E. Paramedic 10
E. Destiny 23

Total: 299
(Possible switch: E Doombot to Rookie, Destiny to Black Panther)

In both squads, Sauron and either Nightcrawler or Silver Samuari get flown into charge range by Storm and Wasp. Sauron charges carrying NC or SS. Depending on the result of the Sauron charge, the other threat can either attack, or move to base/attack the medic. Wasp then carries Storm for the remainer of the fight.

I really like your teams! Especially the second one (I've been having a lot of fun with the Silver Samurai as of late).
I personally would have the Doombot carry Storm around, letting her make her blistering attacks, and have Sauron cut loose, tearing it all up and causing all sorts of mayhem. Meanwhile, Silver Sam makes a beeline (but unobtrusively... Have him make a potato bug-line) across the board (via phasing) to take out your opponent's support figures.
I've played a couple games both with and against teams like this, and they've all been tremendous fun. Very versatile teams which are easily adaptable. They force you to think on your feet... Nice teams.

I would seriously consider dropping the storm or wasp and putting in an exp or vet shadowcat. Phasing is great for going through walls and then dropping of sauron for a 5 space charge while carrying shadowcat. The nice thing about this combo is that if sauron is still alive after your opponents turn. No matter what he does, you can phase away with shadowcat and then have sauron carry them both back to the medic for a nice yo you effect. Silver sameri is not a good fig to carry either, he's 100% a harasser fig and should be played as such. I would tend to agree with our friend here about the storm as well, I would have wasp or a doombot carry storm around for her 4dmg pot shots, only using her as a carrier when her 10 movement range gains you a critical advantage. A reroll such as destiny is always a sweet deal. only made better by adding the BCF and SS.

i like team 1 but i'd consider working in a mandroid or jean grey for cheap telekinisis to do a boomerang effect with nightcrawler this making a hit and run for three clicks(with outwit help and perplex help) and fuzzy guy has more mobility/options but thats my 2 cents
