Looking back on Unlimited X-Men 39 (The best comic currently produced) Storm and Wolverine seem to be at slight odds. Is this correct

Everyone seems to be slightly pissed/scared of Wolverine. I don't blame them. The guy eats raw grizzly bear!

I don't read Unlimited X-Men but in X-treme X-Men Wolvie was rehabing Ororo from major injuries she suffered during the Madripoor/Other Dimension Invasion thing.

They seemed to be getting along fine there.

Well-- as fine as two pretty much opposing personalities can get along.

Although I know Ororo toughened up her character after she lost her power to Forge's Neutralizer waaaaaayyyy back in Uncanny X-Men 183 (?) or so, she still was not as brutal as Logan.

Then again-- who could be?

Well, except Victor Creed/Sabretooth.

I haven't read the issue in question, but I have noted a unique part to Logan's behavior toward all the X-Leaders. He likes to play Devil's advocate to get them to examine all the ramifications of what they might do. The Xtreme team is really where he would like to be, but he keeps close to Xavier and Frost to keep them honest. I'll go check out the issue though. I have all of Xtreme.

It's a classic issue despite the Claremont story in it. (Shudders) Wolverine didn't seem as mad at storm as she did at wolverine.

OK. I just read the story in question. Logan is upset with Ororo because she keeps pushing herself when she is still recovering from near fatal injuries. She keeps trying to be 100% because she doesn't want to let her team down. Logan knows she has nothing to prove and everything to lose.
