They'll never make a Magneto even close to GSX again. Makes me sad to think about how they are gonna do the blue elf.

There is a very good reason for that, the GSX version is extremely overpowered for his points cost.

I'm going to argue this one is damn close. He's more of a general than GSX Mags as he has a lot of great support powers (mainly defend the X-Trait, special barrier, though if you are like me, and only play theme, most people will have it anyway). But 5 natural penetrating damage is amazing and it stays high! As does his defense. GSX one is better and still my favorite click, but I'd reach for this one for X-Men teams and not feel like I'm losing much. He's a must-have that brings something different to the table. That said, it shows how gross GSX is when this one is a prime and still a step behind. I think he's miles ahead of the M10 brick though.

I like the "CARRY THE REMAINS OF THE MUTANT RACE" trait but it comes at a bad time, that with the Energy Explosion buff. Still a nice piece.

I'm a big fan of GSX Magneto, but this guy is a great alternative with a very different power set. Opening with Running Shot + PB + 5 damage is awesome. (In fact, his damage is quite good down the dial.) The defense power is interesting, too...I like powers that increase the effectiveness of Barrier. Definitely worth his points, I think, because he blows most 200 pointers out of the water and he's only marginally more costly.

Why do they never give him Indomitable :-(

This guy is fun, and very different from previous mags which is cool. Anyone thinking this piece can hold a candle to GSX Magneto is a fool. But just because this one doesn't compare to the cream of the crop doesn't mean it should be dismissed.

This honestly just made me pre-order 2 cases.. Primes and chases will be the end of my marriage. I swear it.. My poor kids college funds.. HAH.

The possibilites with 8 square barrier.. Wait.. what? put up 8 squares of barrier in front of Kuurth, have him drag someone through all that blocking? omg....

This guy is cool. If all the Primes are this cool and fun-looking, my wallet will literally cry.

I know damage reducers don't stack but with invincible and toughness wouldn't 6 damage turn into 2 damage?

A force to be reckoned with. Nice choice in Costume too, Keywords are appreciated....gives me hope for a Frenzy and Legion Age of X look....my qualms are now this.....With two Magneto's and Polaris.....the likelihood of getting a Joseph....are getting bleaker, maybe as an LE though?

Based on the wording of Invincible, being, "Half of damage dealt to this character is ignored." I would say yes.

You can only use 1 damage reducing or ignoring ability. So it would reduce it to 3 or to 5 damage.
