My Team's Better Than Your Team: Brotherhood of Evil Mutants vs. Masters of Evil
My Team's Better Than Your Team: Founding Avengers vs Founding JLA
Welcome to a new flyingicarus and Gargantua production.
Here is a proposed series of games meant to counter-point our bigger or more involved games.
The premise is simple. We start at 800 points to use (to be adjusted if needed). Feats and relics may be used but nothing else and can be used up to 10% of the total cost.
Asgardians vs Kryptonians
Fantastic Four vs Cap's Kooky Quartet
70s JLA vs 70s Avengers
This is not to say we couldn't do the Inhumans vs Great Ten. Any match is game.
The winner chooses his next line up for the other player to match with a team of their own.
Score board:
Spider-Man enemies win over Batman enemies
1970s Avengers triumphed over Justice League
Kryptonians beat the Asgardians
The Original X-Men narrowly gained victory over the Original Teen Titans
Cap's Kooky Quartet trumped the Fantastic Four
Founding Avengers took the founding JLA
And now...the original Brotherhood & modern Masters of Evil vs. Original Masters of Evil and modern Brotherhood
I get to use the 'modern' MOE and 'original' Brotherhood. As usual we get 10% of points in feats.
Because of Zemo's trait I've given all the figures with MOE as a keyword Thunderbolts. There's definitely a good/bad to that.
Same is true for the figures I'm fielding for the Brotherhood. Most are quite good but I had to squeeze in a few lemons when I might have been better off using those powers for Masters.
90 MU042 Unus the Untouchable (Endurance)
76 GX033 Blob (Protected)
23 CT037 Toad (Alias)
25 MM006 Vanisher (Passenger)
75 FFCW006 Scarlet Witch (Nanobots)
111 CW032 Quicksilver (Armor Piercing)
117 MU052 Mastermind (Mental Shields)
210 WXM037B Magneto (Fortitude)
67 FF044 Songbird (Endurance)
76 HA022 Moonstone (Thunderbolts to Batman)
105 FI008 Titania (Thunderbolts to Mystics)
50 CW004 Egghead (Thunderbolts to Crime Syndicate)
100 CW041 Baron Zemo (Thunderbolts to Batman)
134 IH033 Tiger Shark (Thunderbolts to Mystics)
44 IC042 Boomerang (Thunderbolts to Masters of Evil)
200 FI024 Greithoth (Thunderbolts to Mystics)
I hesitate to mention this, as the last thing I'd want are more Mystics, but Thunderbolts now allows you to copy only Marvel TAs. But I'm actually okay house ruling it the old way if you want.

I actually have about another 20 points to spend on Feats/ATAs, but I need to get confirmation on how one of them works before I commit to it.
And I roll an 8 for initiative. Your choice on map.
"He wears my mask! He wears my costume! The effrontery! I will kill him for it. Him and all who follow this impostor!" Baron Zemo cursed.
"I'd rather be crushing the Avengers, but I will follow you into battle against all enemies," the Executioner said.
"Isn't he cute? He's like a puppy," Amora said.
"Do not mock me, Amora," Skurge said, obviously hurt by her words. "Do not confuse my loyalty with blindness."
"Let us not squabble amongst ourselves when we have so many enemies to destroy," the Radioactive Man said.
"I like the way you think, Green Jeans," Sabretooth said. "Let's bust some old Brotherhood skulls."
"Destiny, do you have anything to add?" Mystique said.
"Many possible outcomes are at war with each other. But in all of them, many will fall this day. I am sorry. As the events become more immediate, they will be clearer."
"I never held much with fortune telling. Black Tom Cassidy makes his own fortune!" Cassidy said.
As for Thunderbolts only going to Marvel tas. That does make sense to me and if we did that, I'd probably be converting to many more mystics. It's something of a shame that I have to commit the Thunderbolt feat to all those who have it (it's a fantastic feat---just might be nice to do something else for some of the characters). Anyway, I'm cool with going by the rules. If you want to make it a house rule, I'm cool with that too. If you're iffy on it, let's stick to the rule and I'll adjust my next turn.
Alternatively we could allow only Marvel but include ATAs...just not sure the ramifications of that.
If we're going to do Thunderbolts other then strictly as written, I'd rather leave it at allowing Marvel and DC both for Thunderbolts than allow it to copy ATAs.
Hm, interesting map. Shortboarding it a little. Couple of the teams will be starting pretty close.
