Prob with Clairvoyance

I'm in a game right now. The person I am playing rolled a 3, missing the attack. He then used Clairvoyance on Madame Web to appear next to the player attacking to prob it.

This doesn't make any sense, right?

Nope. Clairvoyance is a power action. You can not interrupt an action withe a power action.
