I'll be using the Book of the Skull for the first time this weekend and I needed something clarified. It says you turn the dial whenever an opposing character takes damage from a hammer wielder.
Does this also include poison? What about Mystic damage? And if I Flurry, do I get a turn for each hit? If I connect with the first hit, do I turn the dial before making the second?
I want to make sure I know what's what before I take this puppy for a spin.
When an opposing character takes damage from a friendly character equipped with a Hammer, roll a d6 and turn the Book of the Skull dial that many times to the right. If the opposing character was KO’d by that damage, turn the Book of the Skull dial 3 additional clicks. When the dial is clicked past its red line, click it one more time.
Every single time a friendly character equipped with a hammer damages an opposing character for any reason at all, you roll the die to turn the dial. So Poison, Mystics, anything that does damage will turn the dial. If you connect twice with Flurry, you roll twice.
If you connect with the first hit of Flurry, you roll before the second attack, just like you would take Mystic damage from the first attack before making the second. Treat it like any other "when x happens do y" effect.
I know some venues got the correct card shipped with their month one. Is there any one who could help me get one of those. And yes I know you can print it out, just not the same. Also I never got the Utilitie Belt card either.
So if I hit with flurry and mystics i can do three turns if I do damage with each.
Well if you are the one using Flurry, you would be the one taking the Mystic damage I assume. Taking Mystic damage wouldn't turn the dial at all. If your opponent hit your mystic character which is equipped with a hammer then yes, you turn the dial.
