If Dracula attacks someone with Mastermind and transfers the damage, would Dracula's Steal Energy kick in or would it not?

Mastermind: ...Damage dealt by this power is NOT AN ATTACK.

As you have pointed out, Mastermind damage is not from an attack so Steal Energy will not activate.

Thats pretty cool. I have never thought of that, but I like it as a way to frustrate that character.
