I've been working on some custom heroclix characters and happened across the following:
Theoretically, if a character had both Blades and Hypersonic Speed on the same click ... how would a hypersonic attack resolve? If I hit 5 times before missing during a hypersonic attack, would I do 5d6 damage?
How about same scenario but with Steal Energy instead ... would I gain 5 clicks of healing? Or just one? I guess the confusion for me is that the word "attack" is used differently in the description of Hypersonic Speed (the way I read it was that an attack is composed of multiple attacks).
I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts .... thanks.

if the fig was just running by and using it it would work
but if he uses the multi hit the bcf would resolve then for each die rolled it would be reduced to 1 one so it would be moot to roll the dice
as for steal energy if knockback no longer works after the first hit to my belief i may be wrong on that rulling then only one steal energy would apply but if knockback does work it means each individual roll is resolving an attack action so you could steal as much energy until a miss

also i think you only roll supersenses once on the initial hit then just keep on hitting to miss so i do believe you only gain one steal energy click

In your first hypothetical, I would say that blades/claws could not be used. I think hypersonic implies that you are forced to do one damage each successful attack (and these are added up at the end).
In your second I would say that since the attack is resolved at the end, you'd only get to heal one click no matter how much damage you do.

HSS and BCF wouldn't work together. To activate BCF, you must assign a close combat action. As you cannot assign two actions in a single turn, no figure can use both HSS and BCF together, nor use one action to activate both. The reason a power such as Charge works with BCF, before you ask, is the penultimate line of Charge---you may act as if you'd assigned a close combat action.
Regarding Steal Energy...it's unclear whether the healing would apply once overall or once per attack. Based on the wording of HSS, I would infer an overall healing for the greater close combat attack, however.
Thanks for the input. The phrase below specifically says that an attack is composed of attacks ... this is where I got confused.
"As long as the character with Hypersonic Speed continues to make successful attacks, he can continue to attack. The attack ends when the attacking player declares an end to the attacks, an attack misses, or the defender is knocked back."
