I quit. I'm done with this sheisse. JLTB came out and was ridiculously overpower compared to the entire game of Heroclix. So now instead of fixing the problem and nerfing Team bases, we have to 1up the power levels with the X-Men Blue and Gold bases.
HSS for 6 damage? REALLY?! Archangel is the only character on this base who's ever had HSS and he had it for two clicks on the X-Force dial. So that totally warrants 4 clicks top dial of potential 12 attack or 6 damage on all but 1 click where you are potentially dealing 5.
Then you get the automatic 11 roll? WTF? Is this game really devolved to first strike tactics to the point that you don't even have to roll for it anymore?
Congratulations WK/Neca. You have finally done it. It took you 4 years to do after taking over the game, but you have made me quit Heroclix. Congratu-*&^&*^*-lations.

Sounds like you should house rule it. On the other hand, if you play at a venue where uber cheese is prolific and there are no house rules to fix what NECA f***s up, you should find a new venue.
As bad as a lot of these pieces are, I play at a fantastic venue where we have house rules neutering some of the more ridiculous things NECA has put out. On top of that, for the most part people just simply don't play like douches most of the time.

This isn't true, actually. The Move and Attack ability is also Hypersonic Speed and both GSX Archangel and Iceman had that. GSX Angel and the new Bishop both also have powers that allow them to move their full speed and attack. I'm not saying it's not broken, just that it does make some sense.

Move and Attack is not HSS. It allows you to move-and-attack. To simplify the ability is grants HSS if you aren't adjacent to an opposing character while also taking a -2 to your attack value. The prerequisite for a character to have Move and Attack and Hypersonic Speed are not the same. Which is precisely why Archangel and Ice Man have it. They can not move faster than the speed of sound.
The same thing can be said of GSX Angel's full speed value charge. It's just charge at full speed. Nothing close to HSS.
Bishop's teleportation power is once per game as a double power action. Once again, nothing at all resembling HSS.
I understand the point you're trying to make, but there's really no ground to stand on here. None of the characters represented on this dial have the ability to move faster than the speed of sound, and neither do they employ such a tactic whilst fighting. It's just more cheese for a popular team to have on its Team Base.
