I was at a store in Ontario called Dollarama today. I found the HeroClix Classics Spider-Man battle pack, the one that includes SI001 Spider-Man, Dr. Octopus and Tombstone.

Price tag: $2.50. It must have been the last one left in the store, I searched but didn't see the FF or Iron Man packs that have the same packaging.

I already had these versions of Spider-Man and Doc Ock, but I still had to grab it just for fun. I'll give it away to some new player at my venue, I guess. Nothing wrong with playing a wildcard who has Flurry and 3 for 50 points.

I've also found a lot of Star Wars Pocketmodel packs (another old WizKids game from 2008 or so) for $1.00 each at various Dollarama stores. It's not what you'd call a terrific game, but I'm sure I can find a use for a bunch of 3D models of TIE fighters, X-Wings, AT-STs, and Snowspeeders.

Monsinour, if you are not familiar, WK used the Pirates of the Spanish Main engine to power out multiple properties, Star Wars being one of them.

Credit card stock die-cut and punched out to make ships, etc.

Oh yeah, those pirate boats. I played that once or twice.

I found some Avengers at 5 Below before for 5 bucks a pack. Bought 2 of them and an IM3 gravity feed from the target next door. Pulled Winter Soldier, Cap and Bucky, and Iron Man and War Machine duo. I was pretty stoked.

I found the tabapp clixs at Ross for 4 bucks. Got the X-men and JL.

I found the Fantastic Four Classics at a discount store in Western New York at 2 for $3. But that was like 4 years ago.

My friend has a ton of that pirates stuff. My fiancee and I played it with him, his wife and kids the other night. It is a pretty fun game.

I actually looked into buying some of the pirates stuff but it seems to be a bit too expensive for a game that went out of print.
