ok so if he has the penguin do a pulse wave and dies and summons it the same turn he died would he still have the action token for doing the pulse wave and would not be able to take a action this turn or is this a new character? because i thought it was like that because he was just recking everyone with it because how black heart works

Blackheart and his Gargoyles keep their tokens as well. Now he has 2 different ones which each would have their own tokens.

So, in short, the game doesn't see the resummoned Automa-Bomb as a new character, and it would come in with the token that the previous, now KOed, token would have?

Yup. It looks like any of the spawned bystanders, especially with the "when there are no friendly [character]" text, are treated as reincarnations of the same character rather than clones. EVA and Stone Golem are the same.

edit: just saw a post from Necromagus suggesting he disagrees with this and is checking intent. The specific is EVA but the final answer should apply to all. So, wait and see...
