I have a 300 pt. tourney on Sun., and we're restricted to using only 3 figs per team. Here's what I came up with:

E Superman
E Batman
R Hawkman

297, I believe.

I've never played a DC tourney before, but even I know that pairing up Superman and Batman is not exactly the most original idea. I just wanted to see if they work as well together in clix form as they do in the comics.

Not much to do in a 3 person army, strategically. I'm gonna use Hawkman to taxi Supes, and Batman is gonna do his lone wolf thing (err, lone bat...whatever).

Please help me. An LE Selina Kyle is at stake!

Is it DC only?
If it is, you have a preety good team, it will be a little tricky to win with it, because Doomsday and or bane/bats teams will probably be better/easier to play and win, yours is interesting. I would play with a similar team as yours.

As for changes, Maybe change the R Hawkman for the R Booster, you dont need the JLA ability since you only have 3 actions and 3 figures... Booster has a deep dial, 10 movement and range, that will come in handy...

Yes, I would consider the R Booster as a first option, instead of the R Hawkman. Its a pity you couldnt use the E version of Booster, but the R is a good figure nonetheless...

The only problem I see is that your team would be 7 or 6 points short of 300. If you dont mind that, then this team will do great (if played right).

I suggest that when using this team, before going into melee, you soften them up from afar with Booster, Bats and Supes before charging in for the kill... Now that I think of it, this is an amazing team... good luck.

The new team adds up to 293. It'll have to be enough, seeing as how I have a pretty limited DC clix collection, and this is the best I could come up with. Thanks again.

How about swapping the Supes for a Ex. Doomsday, hence dropping your points a little, allowing you to put in a Veteren Hawkman, along with the E Batman. The V Hawkman has CCE, so would it work with him taxiing Doomsday in for some very effective pummeling while Bats sits on a rooftop afar Outwitting the bejesus outta your opponent? The Hawkman and Doomsday could easily beat your opponent's strongest character into oblivion, and if his other two can even make it past them (Hawkman maybe, but Doomsday? HA!) they'd still have Batman boppin them upside the head with his batarang. I thought I would just put in my two cents about the whole thing. Nothing wrong at all with what your goin with, and I have no clue if you even HAVE these clix. I just REALLY like Doomsday. Stronger in the damage department than a Exp. Supes and cheaper. And plus the team would total at 299. If theres a weakness in this, I would like to know to make sure Im not looking over anything.

Yes, Doomsday doesnt have range... or even better, range with the Supes ability (very effective in DC only tourneys where stealth is rampant)...

True, and as Supes has a range of 6, with Doomsday having a speed of 6 but only 3 with Charge, Supes does have a 3 space advantage, not to mention a speed of 10 with charge. I've just always been a freak about close combat. With Doomsday having the 3 damage plus CCE, it just makes me wanna beat the snot outta some clix, lol.

Yes, ox_mann, I do have E Doomsday. But I'm much more comfortable using the Supes/Booster combo. Superman is decent in both close and ranged combat. And, his team ability would be much more useful to me.

Yeah, same thing with me, I love Charge + SS. The best and most effective combo in the game.

The suggestions you made are good, but against range teams, it would have suffered. Its nice to have some versatility to be able to fight against anything that might be thrown at.

300 points limited to three figures only you say?

Well, if I was playing in this tournament, I'd field these guys:

- LE Superman (236 points)
- Rookie Booster Gold (28 points)
- Veteran Huntress (35 points)

297 points total.

Unstoppable if you can manouver Superman the right way.
