wassup all, just played my first real HC tourney...

it ended up being 300 points mixed, but I had thought that it was 300 points of Marvel,, but whatever.

Here is my oh so n00bish team:

V Bullseye
R Paramedic
R Wasp
R Taskmaster
E Psylocke (I think it was E)
Shadowcat (cant remember which one)
E Cyclops (again, I think it was E)
Doombot (cant remember which one)

came to 298 points.

First game faced scariest looking team, of:
100 point um, huge robot, um, cant remember name, eats xmen for breakfast... yeah.
Firelord
U Batman

was able to take out all 3 of em, onnly lost 120 points...
opponent made the mistake of pushing Firelord...twice.
at that point everyone took a shot, and he went down hard.

Second Game:
cant remember what he had, all I remember was a first turn Doc Samson charge for 7 clicks ><
bullseye ate it hard, rest of team followed.

Third:
just a run of the mill loss, had some bad rolling.
Good news is that cyclops nailed beast for a 5 point ranged attack.

Overall, fun time, not sure really where to go from here...
upgrading Wasp to E wouldve been nice with the Free move, but my collection fits in a very small box at this point

Sounds like you had some good luck at your tourney - usually, the new person at our venue gets mopped by everybody - it gets REAL ugly.

Keep increasing your collection for more options, keep learning from your mistakes, and keep playing! Pretty soon, people will be learning from you.

I recommend taking better notes. That way you can analyze your mistakes and what really worked for the other teams.
