1.on an indoor/outdoor map C=Colossal W=Wall E=Elevated X,Y= normal base character
A colossal on outdoor level one and is next to an indoor room on Level 2
w
C wX
C Y
C
The Colossal is Ziran X and Y are opposing to Ziran. Can X target Ziran with a ranged attack
2. Uru Forge
Relic 3-6
When a character would place this relic on its character card, choose one: Modify this character's speed or range value by +3 this game; Modify this character's attack, defense, or damage value by +1 this game; or remove this relic from the game and replace it with another relic of equal or less points in the same square
If a character makes a successful roll for the Forge and wants to replace it with another relic do you place that relic in the square occupied by the Forge and then you have to roll for that relic?
3. If a Mystic TA character is hit by the area of effect of Energy explosion does the attacking character take mystic damage?
4 Do crit hits increase the damage delt to characters in the AoE of Energy Explosion?
5 If a character with two targets mind controls two different characters does the first character to receive a free action from mind control return to its original force before the second character receives a free action from mind control?
1: yes
2: I would say it is placed on the card, since it was ruled that the rest place it on the card also.
3: Yes Mystic activates when they take damage from an attack.
4: Yes Crit Hits increase damage dealt to all targets.
5: Yes as soon as the free action is over it reverts back to its original force.
Maraud is correct on all of these, but im not sure about #2, once you roll the forge and you choose to pic a different object i believe it will be placed on the map and another power action next turn is needed. I could be wrong but thats is how we play it at my venue
For question 3 I was asking about the untargeted characters hit with splash damage. If one of them was a mystic and hit by splash damage would that activate the mystics TA?

Yes, it will. It is still an attack that dealt damage to the Mystic. Mystics does not require the character to be the target of the attack.
EDIT: And the answer for question #2 is that the new relic is placed on the map. There was quite a large thread about it, so you can search for it if you want an orange clarification on that matter.
1) Yes
2) Placed on the map and needs to be rolled for again
3) Yes, an attack that does not target is still an attack
4) Yes, crits increase damage dealt on every character hit by an attack.
5) The MC'd character immediately returns to its original force when the action it is given is over.

Because this brought it back to mind, is there a resolution on from whence the relic you substitute for the Forge comes? You aren't allowed to bring more than 3 objects as part of your force: are you allowed a "sideline" of additional objects?
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
“No matter how subtle the wizard, a knife between the shoulder blades will seriously cramp his style.”
The relic you replace it with is from outside the game. It is not part of your force / sideline.
that's what I thought since it doesn't make much sense otherwise, but the text doesn't specify. Thanks.
