Phil here and I have not played for about 6 years now and found these videos from Anoraks Podcast on youtube. His has 6 how to play videos for now and these are great for people new to Heroclix, and also a great refresher for myself.

Part 6 explains line of fire regarding elelvated terrain. I was a little confused as far as line of fire with 3 elevations and he explains it quite well.

I made these when I was pretty new to the game myself. I tried to treat the series the same way I do when teaching new players; start with the basics and then begin adding in the complicated stuff.

I will get round to updating and adding some more at some point, honest.

I've seen your videos too they are quite good. Very good for beginners. Judging by your accent I'm sure you are based out of the UK. How is the heroclix scene there? I know next year will be the first year wizkids will be hosting a championship tournament in Europe so that means is must be pretty big which is great. Nice videos and keep up the good work.

I can field the question on how the UK scene is at the moment. Currently we have about 20 or so venues throughout the UK playing in the Wizkids organised play system and a few clubs as well not in the system.

We recently started up a UK organisers facebook group to try and get all the judges/venue owners together and talking to each other. From this we created a UK events page (see my signature) to advertise everyone's events. You won't find many venues advertising events on HCRealms mainly because they think they will disappear under all the USA events.

The store I run is going to be the first venue to hold a Realms Open Championship Super Qualifier event outside of the USA next year and we hope to make this into a proper ROC European Championship in years to come. The Wizkids European Championship is being held THIS year, in a couple of weeks actually and a few of us are going over to have a crack at bringing the trophy back home.

Wizkids currently run a French and Spanish Championship and we hope that they will be coming to the UK next year as well.
