So boys and girls, how will this work vs lets say the book of skulls. If I hit and roll over 10, does that hit character have its hammer removed, or the book and thus all the other hammers ? :noid:

If the book of skulls has to be in play for the relics to be used then I would say remove all relics after the resource is removed. Otherwise you would just remove the resource from the character as well as the hammer it was holding.
This ring is the ultimate silver bullet against the gauntlet, bat locker and book! Just imagine the look on your opponents face when they can no longer use the warm and fuzzy comport of a resource backing up their tentpole.
I think this is yet another situation the elders of the universe are immune from. Their gems aren't being assigned to them as its their trait that allows them to begin the game with a gem attached to their base. A "gem attached to their base" seems to be different from a "gem assigned to that character". But ill just wait for the answer.....
Wow, this really is the ring to rule them all. And here I was joking when I made that post. Ah, well. As for the interaction with Book of the Skull: Rules Lawyer powers, activate!

That's bad news for the Book barring an erreta...roll 10 or more, the Book goes away, along with whatever hammer-time that character is carrying and any hammers still attached to the book instead of a character. However, I'm not sure what would happen to Hammers already assigned to other characters. I *believe* they would remain, because it is the book itself that is letting you otherwise break the regular relic rules, and once it goes away the Hammers in play remain assigned/equipped relics. While not a hard counter to relics and resources because it doesn't always activate, just the fact that is has a reasonable chance of happening should shake up the tournament scene.

Power Girl AND Bust.
Note it says attack "roll" (role) not "total". So you must roll a 10, 11, or 12. Not something I personally would rely on. But then again, if I've managed to pick up the relic in my one shot per character on a 4,5,or 6, (barring using Splitlip and/or Thule priests), My rolls are probably looking pretty good that day, lol.

Actually only zodiac's key is one shot per character. Unless specified, you can roll all you want for relics.
No, actually, all relics are 1 attempt per character. It is part of the definition of relic. See the Player's Guide for the ruling.
RELIC: A special object that is Immobile and can’t be destroyed. Characters occupying a square containing a relic may be given a power action and then roll a d6 that can’t be rerolled. On a result matching the relic value noted on the object, the relic is placed on the character’s card.
It says nothing about being able to only roll once.

SHS Online: Incredible Cosmic Shield
And what's wrong with that? After Fear Itself relics have become a dominant element in this game. Also with the overuse of resources, this item balances out the playing field a bit.
