So im played the Bookworm from the new Batman tv show set with Shatterstar. My opponent was using a team base. I used Shatterstar to place the Bookworm then used the bookworms Extravagant Death Trap and I rolled a critical hit. So his team base was taken off the map and he had no one on the map left. Is that a win automatically? Or do I have to wait for him to roll to come back??
In a two player game, if either player no longer controls any figures on the board (it doesn't' matter why), the game immediately ends and the player who scored the most points wins. If no points have been scored or the score is a draw, then both players roll 2D6 and the highest roll wins the game.
They groaned, they stirred, they all uprose, Nor spake, nor moved their eyes; It had been strange, even in a dream, To have seen those dead men rise.
You have to wear a suit and tie if you get caught in one. Much too formal for my tastes.
As long as pants aren't required, I don't see why it would be too formal at all. It would be like a mullet. Business from one angle, party from another.

I'm pretty sure the Extravagant DTs require a tuxedo.

When you say "suit" generally pants are part of the package. You're thinking of the Frat Party Death Traps.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Oops guess I wrote the wrong word... I mean they are synonyms of each other. But im glad I can now picture Mr. Freeze in a tux setting up a extravagant death trap.

That's not correct. If all of one players figures are defeated then the other player with figures left is the winner, regardless of victory points. If at least one player has no figures on the map but they all weren't defeated (capture, death trap, etc) then it comes down to VP.

DETERMINING THE WINNER
If only one player has surviving (undefeated) characters at the end of the game, that player is the winner. Otherwise, at the end of the game
all players count their victory points (see below). Whoever scores the most victory points wins the game. If two players played as an allied team, their points are added together. If there is a tie in victory points, all tied players roll 2d6 and the player with the highest total result wins.

Correct. While JDub is correct in what he quotes, Captured is not Defeated: you have to release the captive in your starting area to defeat them and score points. So it's a 300 point game, and you capture my 300 point Team (or Superman, or whatever.) The game ends. The captive is returned to me: since it was not defeated, you don't auto-win because neither of us has 0 characters undefeated. Just as a game that goes to time, the winner is determined by points. If that's a tie, then it goes to roll-off. Capturing your opponent's OMA is at best a 50/50 proposition, and if they scored any points at all from you first it's an automatic loss for you.
