I realize the Watchlist rules aren't set in stone, so getting an official answer may not be possible but i'm wondering specifically about this one:
“Each time a character makes an attack in a turn after their first, their damage value is modified by -1 until the end of the turn, minimum 1.”
Say I have the Nightwing and Batgirl duo character which has this power:
COMPLEMENTARY COMBAT SKILLS: When Nightwing and Batgirl use the Duo Attack ability, they can use Flurry as a free action instead of each attack.
Assuming both duo attacks are replaced with Flurry how would the damage decrease go on the third attack? (that is on the first attack of the second flurry). Would it be -2 seeing as its the third attack this turn or just -1 because Flurry is unaffected by the general rule modifier?
I believe the intention was for a Flurry being used BY ITSELF is not effected by the -1 modifier for the additional attack assuming it's the first attack that character makes. However, once you toss multiple Flurries into the mix you would receive -1's to Flurries beyond the first. For example, Nightwing and Batgirl will use their "special" Duo Attack to Flurry and not receive a negative modifier for the first Flurry. The second attack of that duo attack (2nd Flurry) will now be at -1 damage value for both attacks.
