When using mind control with a friendly then attacking again during the same turn will their damage be reduced during the second action?

It's not specified about what kind of attacks, what targets, or any other type of clarification. So the answer is yes, you'll be reduced.

What I'm trying to ask is after the mind control resolves and the character that was mind control then attacks in its own action would the second attack be reduced damage?

I'll be honest, I believe there was a thread about this, but for some reason I can't get the search function to work. If I recall, the ruling was that things reset once the MCd piece returns to the original state. Sorry.

Please let me know if you find that ruling, we are still trying to figure out which way to do it in our venue

This is the thread. I guess they decided that since the character DID make attacks, they WOULD get the -1.
