Well top-dial Old Galactus has a 16/8 with Pen/Psych and a 21 Defense.
GG Galactus has a 14/7 with Pen/Psych and a 20.
So the old man has to roll a 4 to hit the new guy, who has to roll a 7 to hit back. Also Old Galactus ignores Pen/Psych and can take three actions a turn. No contest.
90% of rules questions are answered by RTFC. Most of the rest are answered by a proper grasp of English and common goddamn sense.

Uhm... have you played in a Tourney with the old Galactus much? I own and like Both. And the Herald is a great touch but if I'm going to a tourney to Win I'm taking Old School Galactus every-time.
1) New Galactus takes 1 unavoidable when he acts with 2 action tokens. Old Galactus can act EVERY turn, no damage.
2) New Galactus 12 range. Old Galactus 16.
3) 3 attacks per turn vs 2.
4) Higher damage on Old Galactus.
5) MOST IMPORTANTLY. Movement. New Galactus can be tied up, old Galactus cannot. Old Galactus can break walls and blocking as he moves through them and can land pretty much anywhere on any map. New Galactus can be VERY restricted by maps when moving.

jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.
I have only lost twice when fielding O.G. Galactus. Once against a HUGE Avengers team that hit me with Disbanded and just pummeled me.. and again to another O.G. Galactus.
Hands down, the original Galactus is THE colossal in Heroclix. Barring crazy rolls and circumstances, nothing beats it.
Even with the new rules.. it still deals 18 clicks of damage.. EVERY TURN...

Sort of. The higher you go the less the Herald matters and the more the Original Galactus' raw numbers begin to Embarass the new Galactus. On click 12 for both of them at 1800 points Old Galactus has a 14 attack, 20D, 8 damage. New Galactus has a 10 attack, 16D, 5 Damage
New Galactus has 900 and 1500pt levels the old one doesn't but at those levels you're just way better off Using Old G at a lower point level and then adding in some Resources and Support. You haven't seen Invincible until you've seen Galactus with Angrir's Hammer or on Godhood from the Infinity Gauntlet.
Now, at 300pts the new Galactus wins every time. But loses to almost everything else.
