So my venue is doing a constructed/sealed event...300 pts constructed with at least one piece coming from the avengers or x-men starter sets...and an additional 100 from your sealed pick (totaling 400 pts)...you are allowed to drop one piece from your constructed team to make room for more points from your pulls (ex. last week i had spidey and scarlet witch and dropped spidey to make room for iron doom)

so for month two... how does this sound for constructed part of my team?

Just thought this might work well too....depending on pulls i have lots of point flexibility

This has potential, but I feel like it's too much support with no real main attacker. If you swapped Scarlet for Thor maybe.
This is a good mix and gives you options for dropping Scarlet or Oracle to make more room for a good sealed pull. And if you saw that a lot of people were using Resources like Phoenix Force then M10 is Da' Man.
I just don't like it. Again no real Primary Attacker and Quicksilver doesn't bring enough to the table for his cost.

All good points from Jon, so I'll offer a team to consider. This team should do fairly well against most teams, but someone like 200pt Magneto could cause you some problems so keep an eye out for some close combat, outwit, or TK in your sealed pulls. Someone like Rescue or Shaman would be a great pull.

I think something like this will give you a better offense/defense combo, and has a lot more synergy with your support pieces then Wong, and Madame Web who are just not reliable support in my opinion.

Sharon Carter brings so much support to ranged avengers teams providing Stealth from her trait, +1 range from her Shield TA plus the power action to bump someones damage which works so well with her Willpower, and perplex on her second click.

Just an idea to have a look at, good luck in month 2.


I like Wong, and Madame Web, but I think the 54pts could be used a little better.

I dont entirely disagree....however...with strange and the pheonix force i can keep them at range...with wong that gives him a 20 def top click w/o having to plex....plus wong copies scarlet witch's entire power...so he has plex/prob/supp and can stick next to strange...plex up stranges damage and atk once each from wong and witch (plus bonuses from pheonix force...and im gonna be hitting almost every time w/ 3 probs and penetrating for a minimum 3 dmg

Wong's power is not quite that good, he does not get to copy Scarlet Witch's entire power he can only use a power action during your turn to copy either perplex or prob not both until your next turn. Then if he wants to do it again during your next turn you have to push him.

BACKUP SPELLCASTER: If a friendly character with the Mystical keyword is within 4 squares and line of fire and can use Perplex or Probability Control you may give Wong a power action to use that power until your next turn.

I thought they rulled that he can get the perplex & prob at the same time for that turn.

Yup...i don't see why not....the only sad part about him is you cant move and use that power with him.....so he has to stay rooted....but the fact that he copies the whole power w/ witch's prob/plex/supp means lots o prob...and strange on a 20 def w/ no plexs burned against ranged atks
