I just wanted to get clarification on the bolded portion. Does this mean I can have a 150 point figure can gain the Legion of Super Heroes keyword and if there are 3 figures with the trait below?
I guess it is the "if this character doesn't use this trait" portion that is tripping me up. Is that included so that multiple figures can't be affected by this trait?
Welcome to the Legion When you build your force, choose one character of 50 points or less. That character gains the Legion of Super Heroes keyword and this game. If your force includes other characters with this trait, you may increase the point value of your chosen character by 50 points if this character doesn't use this trait.

I agree with Burn-Fiddle-Burn (), the trait does not say "increase by 50-pts for each Legion member not using the trait" it says +50-pts PERIOD if you have more than 1 characer with this Trait.
I would read this as:
1 x Welcome to the Legion: 1 x 50-pt fig
2 x Welcome to the Legion: 2 x 50-pt figs -OR- 1 x 100-pt fig
3 x Welcome to the Legion: 3 x 50-pt figs -OR- 1 x 100-pt fig
But each one of them says to add 50 "if THIS character doesn't use this trait", so if Saturn Girl elects not to use her trait that would add 50 points from her, then if Cosmic Boy doesn't use his he would also add 50 points, etc.
90% of rules questions are answered by RTFC. Most of the rest are answered by a proper grasp of English and common goddamn sense.

I'm with you. It seems like it should be each individual character choosing to give up their vote to boost another, not one of them deciding to deny everyone's vote, if that makes any sense.
So with 3 of them I would expect these options:
- 3x 50 point characters (Each user their own vote)
- 1x 50 point character and 1x 100 point character (One gives up their vote to boost the other, one left with their own vote)
- 1x 150 point character (2 give up their vote to boost the last)

This is how i took it, and it doesn't need to stop at 150... you could induct Ventry if you had 6, playing dupes?
Contrary to popular belief, I do know what I'm doing
