Greetings all!

I found a shop that sold a little bit of Heroclix, so I picked up the two Wolverine and the X-Men boosters they had, and got the following: Smasher, Dazzler, Sunspot, Shi'ar Soldier, Multiple Man, Sauron, Starbolt, Black King, Oracle and Rictor. I appraised their value and saw none of them ar particularly valuable, but I was wondering what people thought of them...particularly Black King, that seems fairly interesting.

Also, the shop had the Dark World and Man of Steel starter. Are they worth picking? I already have both the new Avengers and Xmen starters.

Personally, I only find MOS101 Superman and TDW101 Thor playable... at least for my playing style. My advise is that you check out the individual figure's stats at the Units section and then decide if you want the whole set or just buy the figure/s you want.

I think both starter sets are good and have nice playable pieces. That said I wouldn't say they're critical to have and I actually prefer the AVX starters.

Smasher may not be a big flashy money piece, but he's honestly one of my favorite pieces in the game after having played for a few years. He's really good as a support piece, and can also be a secondary attacker. What's really cool about him is that he can Charge somebody with a heavy object, then use his Download power to get Outwit, Perplex, or PC and still also use one of those as a free action.
