So with the new final word does the replacement part only affect say a split merged character that was previously pacted, or would it affect a replaced taikon. I'm pretty sure the pact would still be in affect then correct?
Secondly this got me in a tournament, and may be true I just have horrible comprehension with the rules sometimes if my pact character gets hit would that break the pact altogether? I thought it would allow my character to attack while my opponents highest character still be pact.
If you ran Highfather and Pacted an opposing Highfather, the Pact will still affect the opposing Takion if that opposing Highfather turns into him.
If you ran Highfather and Pacted something and then turned your Highfather into Takion, the Pact would immediately end.
If either Pacted character takes damage from an attack, the Pact is broken for both characters, not just for the one character.

This is incorrect, if High father is replaced with Takion then The Pact is lost and its effects end.

Are you saying that even if both players have separate pacts declared (and that highfather is the highest pt figure on both teams) that replacing either highfather ends BOTH pacts? Or just the pact of the highfather being replaced?

Just the Pact of that Highfather being replaced.

Highfather A Pacts. Highfather B becomes Takion. Pact A is in effect.

Maybe I just miss read your post in comparison with the OP since they did not ask about 2 Highfathers.
