10th Iron Man, mind control and force-wide resources
So here's one from the weekend, which was interesting:
Brother Voodoo, on a force with the Power Plant, mind controls an enemy Wolverine, a force with no resources at all. Wolverine attacks the opponent's 10th Iron Man (takes no dmg from characters with resources/relics).
Does Wolverine now have the force-wide power plant assigned to him, and thus deals no damage to 10th Iron Man?
Retired, as per WK's rotation and judiciary replacement decisions. Talk about metaception.
This does get a bit wonky. However, Resources are assigned during Force Construction. Wolverine is not assigned the Power Plant even during Mind Control. HOWEVER, he can still use the Power Plant as it does not state that its effects are only for those who are assigned to it. All of its effects state friendly characters. That is why if you bring a character onto to your force they can still use the Power Plant.
So to answer you question - Adaptive Armor would not activate vs Wolverine in the case you described.

Dragon is correct as far as I am aware, just me being pedantic though M10 Iron Man's trait is not worded that he cannot be dealt damage but that he ignores the damage and then has a 50/50 chance of taking damage from his trait. This is important if a character assigned a resource or relic can deal unavoidable damage in whatever fashion (say Mystics TA for example) as this can't be ignored but because of the wording of the trait he still has to roll to see if he is damaged by the trait.
