I know there was a ruling on Professor X's leadership power that he could only use leadership normally, or remove tokens off all adjacent x-men characters of lower value.
What did they tell you the errata was? Maybe they just meant a clarification.
That The Prof got regular leadership and witch didnt TAKE away team abilities(so they could still be wildcarded, which is how it reads to me)
They can still be wildcarded because her trait states the character can't use that team ability they still posses it which means it can be wild carded.
As I said before, I'm looking forward to the day I can have the USS Enterprise driving a Batmobile which has been pimped out with a Gauntlet! ~~Harpua

On Scarlet Witch- you'd be correct, assuming that the Wildcards weren't actively using the TA that was being targeted with her power when it was used.
For example- your opponent uses 'No More Mutants' targeting characters that can currently use Mystics.
Your team has Enchantress, Lightning Lad, and Saturn Girl. Lightning Lad is currently using Mystics and Saturn Girl is not.
You then roll for your Enchantress figure & Lightning Lad, but not Saturn Girl since she currently can not use Mystics. Enchantress and Lightning Lad both fail their rolls.
Once it's over, Enchantress still possesses the TA, but can't use it. LL could still Wildcard the TA, but he can't use it. Saturn Girl can wildcard it and can use it normally since she wasn't using it when 'No More Mutants' was used.
It just prevents those individuals from using it, it doesn't make the TA unaccessable by anyone else. So a good strategy if you have a wildcard heavy team using a team ability and you are facing a SW would be- don't have the wildcards use the TA until after SW uses her power.
