- You could field a team of exactly 6 clix
- All dials/sets eligible
- 600 points
- All clix with the Sinister Syndicate TA/keyword get a permanent +1 to their attack value
and go for an indoor map with lots of walls/blocking to get the most out of the Rhinos. If you need more Outwit, push Green Goblin and Kraven to their second click
What would your team of six look like? I really want to dig Demogoblin, but his AV is just too low to make his otherwise sweet trait and SPs come through. (His defense is even poorer, his range is short, and he could use some Willpower on his first clicks). The OP says that all characters with the Sinister Syndicate keyword and/or TA gets a +1 on AV, which could make me reconsider. This
Green Goblin 117 + Thunderbolts ATA 8 (Avengers Initiative)
Rhino 128 + Utility Belt (complete) 14
Vulture 61
Shocker 65
Demogoblin 85
Dr. Octopus 121
= 599

Shocker is Thunderbolts too. So with the ATA that would put you 7 points over.
Nope. When you add an ATA to your force all characters on the team with the keyword have to be assigned it.
Really?
So if the entire team shares the (for example) Intelligencia keyword, they all have to pay for it if one does?
That seems like the opposite of my understanding. I thought, if they all share the Intelligencia keyword, you can cherry-pick and have Red Hulk use the ATA and pay the cost, but skip everyone else.
Furthermore, if one of the characters on your team has the GLA keyword (that nobody else on your force has), can they utilize that ATA all by themselves?
Nope. The new rules state everyone can have a keyword(I.e sinister syndicate) but you can pay for one person for a different ata. I.e green goblin and thunderbolts. You don't have to pay for both of them. That's what my venue judge said.
The symbiobros: Crizclix, Bat-Dude, 8ball98, W3AreV3nom, Batarang96
Remember kids, if Mysterio can hit Galactus, you can follow your dreams!

That's not a new rule it always worked like that. You could build a Sin 6 theme team and use the Thunderbolts ATA. The new rule is that ATAs can only be played on theme teams. But when you use an ATA on a team everyone with the Keyword that ATA is for has to be assigned the ATA. This is from the 2014 rule book:

Additional Team Abilities:
Additional Team Ability (ATA)
cards can be added to your force when it is a themed
team. Each ATA card indicates the cost per character
that must be added to your force in order to use it in
the game; all characters that meet the prerequisites
must be assigned the ATA and your force’s build total is
affected accordingly.
