Get In Your Face: Guy Gardner can use Charge. Give Guy Gardner a move action, and if he ends his move adjacent to an opposing character, the move action counts as a free action instead, and he uses Battle Fury until that character is KO'd.
So when Guy is adjacent to an opposing character, can he be given a move action, fail the breakaway roll, and still be granted the free action attack?
Basically, does failing a breakaway role constitute as ending a move?
Failing break away would normally immediately resolve that portion of the characters turn. He didn't move he resolved an attempt to move. Common sense would say "no", but this is heroclix the game mastered by linguistics majors and proof read by high school drops outs. So I really hope you broke Guy before he even becomes playable.

I spoiled SLoSH and all I got was called a "dink", and this lousy signature.
If a character occupying a square adjacent
to one or more opposing characters is
given an action and attempts to move, that
character must successfully break away
before it can move.
If he failed break away he didn't move, so he couldn't end his move.
So it counts as ending a move action, but not a move?
No, the power says "if he ends his move adjacent". If he failed to break away, he never moved, so how could he end his move? It doesn't say "end his move action" it says "end his move". To me that says you had to be moving.

Just re-read this. Where do you see a free action attack in the power as a result of ending the move adjacent? The move action will be free, any attack is still a separate, non-free action.
If he uses Charge, he will get a free close combat action, but Charge is a power action, not a move action.
The idea behind the power, is a psuedo-Charge. He can use his full movement, end adjacent so the move was free, gain the use of Battle Fury (to ignore Shape Change among other things) and still be given a non-free action for the turn. (Presumably a close combat action)
Also, since it says "until that character is KO'd" he could move away (through break-away or TK or whatever) and still be able to use Battle Fury since the other character is still on the board.
the thing that matters is that says "if he ends his movement", as he don't move, he can't trigger his effect, but if say move action, you can use the effect, example IIM ironman and war machine SP speed power

COVER ME! NO, YOU COVER ME!: After Iron Man and War Machine resolve a move action, they may use the duo attack ability as a free action.

That was my mistake, I was thinking of just making a close combat attack following the free action move and then misspoke.

Yep, exactly. If it said resolve a move action, then you could fail the breakaway and it would trigger, because you still resolved a move action.

All good, I figured that's what it was. Sorry if I came off snotty. Its so easy to accidentally use a "tone" in posts.
