first, I will use Avalanche to PW my hookers and taxi Logan and Doc into combat. I have the Con Artists perplex damage up and Avalanche Throw around Barrier to help protect my guys. Who do you all think?

IMHO PW on your own figs is cheesy. As is multiple Con Artists.

whoa! watch out puritain alert! I myself have a couple of con artists, and I am getting an avalanche vet in the mail. I might want to pw my figures that need to activate, colossus, wolfsbane, etc. too. I thought that you couldn't do it, butthen they ruled that you could. So, I should let someone use this tactic against me and then glare and say "I am too pure a strategist to play against the likes of you varlet!" ????
this guy who plays tourneys round here developed this doombots, taskmaster, r. invisible girl team. he started walloping me, I couldn't touch that eighteen def. until I discovered exp. ultron! pair him w/ e boomerang and they share attack vals. In my first tourney I will have to play against that team sunday. Should I worry that others will tsk tsk me if I use the 'cheesy' ultron?

I'm going to use that team, and the other players will tryto figure a way to defeat it. which I am sure they can do. I prefer to play all xmen and all avenger teams. and big brawler matches with lots of points. But for my first and maybe only tourney with prize support, I thought I would try to win

What I would do is make the paramedic a rookie and a conartist a rookie then take out avalance and put in catgirl
