I figure it's not wanting to hurt someone that you love(Shape Change) and the emotional backlash when you do(Mystics).

90% of rules questions are answered by RTFC. Most of the rest are answered by a proper grasp of English and common goddamn sense.

It sucks that you can't field these lovely ladies with any of the old Star Sapphires due to the Violet Lantern Corps keyword and Star Sapphire Keyword difference. Hopefully an Errata comes up. If not, then a house rule will be in place at my venue.
