I think Thomas means the fact that she has a move and attack method for every click, such as running shot and charge. I don't think he means she has the move and attack ability that the inverted movement symbol gives. And yes, she is just about a perfect 100 point piece.
Even with the schizo change up from ranged to close combat back to ranged, Star Sapphire loves you...to DEATH! *cue dramatic reveal*
Or something like that. Even without other Star Sapphires to buff with incapacitating Mystics, a figure that bookends Charge/Blades/CR/Exploit with RS/PPB/ESD and RS/PW/Toughness would probably be worth 100 points for a slightly shorter dial, never-mind the Shape Change and buffed Mystics on top of that. As is, six clicks of hitting above her weight class before the rest of your team is taken into account makes Carol a very welcome update over her older versions, and I will probably break theme to include her on both hero and villain teams alike.

Power Girl AND Bust.
It only took four tries, but we finally got a decent Carol. This may be the 100 point piece that replaces 100 point Fast Forces Supergirl as my go-to for that range. Like the Supergirl in question, lack of indomitable slows her down, but she's very pushable, plus cheap enough to have a more powerful fighter or two draw heat of of her, allowing her to rest safely.
Why didn't they give this figure the "Construct" trait, like Hal Jordan, Jade, Rond Vidar, etc. seems like SUCH a wasted opportunity, since they have constructs for all the colors. All the "New Guardians", as the best of their lantern corps, should have had the "Construct" trait.
Although Mystics is a great deterrent and Star Sapphire can often get in the first shot, she does kinda struggle when based by a brick. Shooting her is a much harder task so you can expect to need to roll breakaway to try to get some good licks in. Sapphire's sudden and complete tactical shift to close combat (all 4 powers lean into it) and back to ranged again is a little hard to manage, because you shouldn't really be pushing into it and yet it's hard to know how much you'll be hit for. She's always doing *something*, though, and you do get your 100 points worth here. She absolutely punishes people for hitting her and it's glorious, but watch out for Indomitable opponents who will shrug off extra tokens (or worse, already have two).

WIN/LOSS: 2-1 LE Star Sapphire is a solid figure for the points. I like the constantly swapping power set as she identifies as a ranged piece begging to be based and punched. Doing so brings up the close version and more penetrating damage. Pushing or taking more damage being Pulse-Wave which can be used adjacent or not. I like the design.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
