When you use this relic, does it say you cannot use any other relic than this?

?Your force may include up to 3 of this relic regardless of its type. While this relic is assigned to a character, it can't roll to be assigned any other relic. This character has the Legion of Super Heroes keyword, "wing symbol", and may carry friendly characters regardless of their speed symbol. This character can use Defend and Toughness."

You can roll to pick up as many relics as are on the board, whether yours or your opponent's. It'd be pointless for the same figure to pick up more than 1 Flight Ring, but they could do it if you wanted to.

The part about having more is that you're normally only allowed 1 immobile object on a build... this allows you to replace an additional object (whether light or heavy) with the ring.

I guess in the context of my question I forgot to mention is that, for my build tonight, our relics will be automatically attached to our assigned character...

I was planning to use the Legion Flight Ring, Green Lantern Ring and another relic for 3 separate characters.

can you have the Legion Flight Ring and 2 other relics on your team...

Then no. Unless the scenario's guidelines allow it (eg. the event description says that you can use 3 relics), then you can only use the Flight Ring because only 1 Relic is normally allowed.

Also, after rereading what I wrote before, I should clarify that the ring would have to be picked up last, but you could pick up a dozen Relics if they were allowed on the map. The Ring specifically says you can't pick up any other Relic AFTER that... I was thinking of Relics in general and not specifying that statement to the ring. But yeah, you can have up to 3 Flight Rings in your build only because the Ring says you can.
