TELEKINETIC KNIVES: Bloody Mary can use Blades/Claws/Fangs and Flurry. When she uses Flurry the second close combat attack may attack a target character within 4 squares and line of fire. This power can't be countered.

In a normal situation, after the first attack she is likely to remain adjacent to that opposing character. For her second attack granted by Flurry she may attack a target character within 4 squares and line of fire.

Does the wording in this special power allow you to ignore adjacent opposing characters? It doesn't specifically say it's a ranged combat attack, but rather "may attack a target character..." I think I just answered my own question. I'll post it anyway just for clarification in case it comes up at the shop.

Given that she lacks Improved Targeting of any sort, I'd see this as an extremely circumstantial power if it doesn't work like I've stated above.

Edit: Oh, it actually states it as the "the second close combat attack"

It's still a close combat attack, so it doesn't care that you are adjacent to anybody!
