I'm sure most of these questions have been answered, but I didn't see them, thanks in advance.
All the posts I've read says the Power Battery isn't a character and can only be attacked by following the "Attacking the Power Battery" power/ability. My question is why does it say, "The Power Battery affects line of fire, can use its powers and abilities, is damaged and KO'd as if it were a character" then?
Since you can give it a power action and a double power and I don't see willpower anywhere. Do the power battery take pushing damage, because it's not a character?
If your a Corps Member you can use the rings power. Does it get ignored when the character is targeted with pulse wave.
Is pulse wave blocked by the power battery like blocking terrain or like it character. Because under setup it says, "The Power Battery affects line of fire, can use its powers and abilities, is damaged and KO'd as if it were a character" but PW ignores game effects.

Corps Members - When a friendly character has any Constructs on its card, it is called a Corps Member and is assigned the Power Battery. Friendly Corps Members can use the ability of the Constructs on its card and the ability of the Power Ring attached to the Power Battery. If a friendly Corps Member is KO'd, any Constructs on its card are re-attached to the Power Battery. If the Power Battery is KO'd, all Constructs are removed from friendly Corps Members' cards.

Setup - During the beginning of the game, the Power Battery is placed in 4 squares of clear terrain in your starting area. The Power Battery affects line of fire, can use its powers and abilities, is damaged and KO'd as if it were a character. Characters, objects, and blocking terrain may not occupy the same squares as the Power Battery. The Power Battery is immediately KO'd when the last friendly character is defeated.

Attacking the Power Battery - If the Power Battery is adjacent to an opposing character or within its range and line of fire, that character may be given a power action to roll 2d6 and add their attack value. If the result is equal to or higher than the Power Battery's defense value, it takes damage equal to the opposing character's printed damage value -2. This can't be ignored.

PULSE WAVE Give this character a ranged combat action even if it is adjacent to an opposing character; the area of effect for this attack is half the character’s range value. Draw lines of fire to all other characters within the area of effect, including at least one opposing character; these lines of fire ignore all game effects except for walls, blocking and elevated terrain. Game effects possessed or used by characters with a line of fire drawn to them are ignored until the action has been resolved. If a line of fire is drawn to more than 1 character, this character’s damage value becomes 1 and is locked. Each character hit is dealt damage.
1) That's actually a good point.
2) In my best judgement 'It can use it's powers as if it were a character' sounds like it would get pushed? But I'm far from sure on that one..
3) I answered this one in a different thread last night and my ultimate opinion is, using the example of the Sinestro Corps power battery that causes something attacking someone who is a corps member to get -2 atk, I personally feel since this is from the battery then it still happens. There could be an argument that the character being a corps member would be ignored but that's more a game attribution than effect so I would say it does reduce the attack of the pulse waving character.
4) In theory, if it affects line of fire like a character then the pulse wave goes through it like a character.

1) There are no rules for attacking resorces so this is just stating it can be attacked like a character. You can still only attack it as outlined in its rules.
2) That's the way I've ruled it at my venue. If you can give it power actions, you can push it.
3) I'm gonna need backup on this one but I would say no for the same reason a perplex is not ignored from outside the PW.
4) I would say it doesn't block the PW's LoF.
I demand to know why Bedovian, who can SEE ACROSS SECTORS OF SPACE, is only a 10 range.
I emailed the questions here are the answers I received:

Hello,
The Power Battery takes pushing and unavoidable damage like a character when it pushes or uses Colossal Stamina. It also turns its dial the same way a character turns its dial when it is damaged.
Yes.
If the ring is granting effects that the character can use, then those effects will be ignored if it is in the Area of Effect of a Pulse Wave attack.
Pulse Wave ignores all game effects when drawing its Lines of Fire except for blocking and elevated terrain. Since the Power Battery is neither of those things it will be ignored for Pulse Wave's Lines of Fire.
