So I ran into a strange situation today. I am playing silver centerion and I tried to have the bomb attack the power battery. The power battery says that it takes a characters printed damage value -2. The bomb doesn't actually have a printed damage value. So can the bomb not damage the battery?
This is why it helps to quote the effects in question:
Quote
Attacking the Power Battery
- If the Power Battery is adjacent to an opposing character or within its range and line of fire, that character may be given a power action to roll 2d6 and add their attack value. If the result is equal to or higher than the Power Battery's defense value, it takes damage equal to the opposing character's printed damage value -2. This can't be ignored.

PULSE BOLT TORPEDO: Once per game, give Silver Centurion a power action to put a Torpedo special terrain marker on the map in an adjacent square. When the Torpedo is on this map, you may give Silver Centurion a free action, put an Acceleration token on this card and then move the Torpedo equal to the number of Acceleration tokens on this card as if it were a character with "wing symbol" and Improved Movement: Ignores Characters. At the beginning or end of your turn, if the marker's square is occupied by an opposing character, you must remove the marker from the map and make a close combat attack roll against that character with an attack value of 11 and a damage value equal to the number of Acceleration tokens on this card, maximum 7.
The torpedo is not a character and can't be given a power action, so there is no way for it to "attack" the battery.
